Let's face it. No matter how much we clean, we're always going to have a certain level of intruders and floaters.
We can't drive ourselves crazy trying to rid them all, so we finally decide on an acceptable level and work from there.
It's way past time to start this thread, so here we go. I'll make the first donations. ROTF
DRYER FILTER I empty my dryer filter outside, placing it inside a plastic trash bag, closing the bag and thumping the filter. No sense in giving dryer lint to the wildlife.
PAPER SHREDDER I keep a plastic bag in shredder basket. I gather everything to shred for however long I can stand it, then I take it all outside and shred everything. Again, I try to contain it to keep from sharing with the birds and the bees.
TRAVEL MUGS & COVERED GLASSES I drink only from covered vessels now. I don't ever want to see fiber floating in my coffee again.
FOOD No more fruit bowls on display, or any food exposed to the air for any longer than absolutely necessary. I no longer walk and eat or wave my food around. It goes straight from plate to mouth. LOL
TOWELS I quit using kitchen towels because they're a pain to keep checking (with black light) to see when they're contaminated. I use paper towels only (I'm so sorry, trees).
Bath towels are pulled from the closet when they're used.
CLEANING PRODUCTS Admittedly, I use paper towels, bathroom tissue and Swiffers. They're likely all cousins to our fiber intruders, but whaddya gonna do?
KITCHEN SPONGES, CLOTHS, ETC. I only use a scrubby sponge for cleaning pots and pans. I wipe everything else with wet or dry paper towels.
I keep a black light handy to check when I clean my huge glass table that I use for laundry. Even though we wipe things down, the lint doesn't necessarily get wiped up. Some of them are quite stubborn, and the last thing I want to do is contaminate the sheets I just "ammoniafied" by laying them on a table with glowing lint.
LAUNDRY I put it away as fast as I remove it from the dryer. Nothing hangs or lays in open air any longer than it has to.
EYES I always clean sunglasses, binoculars, cameras, whatever it is that I'm going to put up to my eye. No more linty eyelashes or eyeballs.

HOPE! I found the message below from a woman who has been free for 3 years. I am almost clear after months of despair... USE AN ENZYME CLEANER LIKE KLEEN FREE THIS WILL CLEAR UP THE PROBLEM as long as you keep spraying and vaccuming. Also very important to do something about your clothes dryer - replace the vent pipe and pour something like borax into the vent in the machine. Better still dump it and buy a condenser dryer so you can wash all lint and eggs (like tiny pieces of glitter) out of it after every use. Clean every single thing in your house and watch out for wood, paper, rubber, spray every crevice, inside cupboards, mattresses, etc. Also using FUMERS as if treating a very bad bed bug problem is a help in controlling this. Useful for the car which I couldn't clean regularly but you can spray it with the enzyme cleaner. Wash clothes regularly after the problem abates and keep spraying, spraying, spraying and wet dusting inside clothes storage areas.
Here's the message that saved my sanity: I don't know if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me. I was going NUTS with Morgellon's about 2-3 years ago, to the point where I wanted to kill myself. I had ALL of the symptoms everyone describes... the lesions with fibers, specks, etc.... I went to every doctor, dermatologist, etc. and nearly killed myself with their toxic treatments. I was bathing 2-3 x a day and washing everything in my house - every day- to no avail.
Finally I came across something that seems to have helped....
1. I completely cleaned my house, and then I bought a liquid enzyme treatment - they sell them on the internet or you can buy some such as "Nature's Miracle" in any pet supply store. I sprayed it all over my house, on my clothes, my bed, my pets, in my tub and sink etc. I don't know if this actually killed the disease, but the enzymes kill eggs and it certainly stopped whatever it is from reproducing and it began to go away.
2. I took Digestive Enzymes orally to help with internal cleansing.
3. I took Co-Q 10 and L-Lysine to help strengthen my immune system and skin.
4. I took an anti-itching medicine (Benadryl works, too) just to keep from scratching, and possibly spreading or reinfecting.
5. I washed my clothes with Borax which also kills eggs, etc. (Don't use too much or it will shred your clothes!)
Finally, I began to experience relief. Thank God!!! Please post this at the top of your site so that other people can try it. Michele

KILLING JAR method of cleaning:
I have found an adjunctive method that seems to really potentiate the enzyme sprays or household cleaners that are SO necessary in controlling this disease.
I call it a "Killing Jar." I prepare a glass jar with a wide mouth lid that screws down easily and tightly, by filling it approximately 1/2-3/4's full of a highly toxic cleaning solution, such as amonia or strong enzyme cleaner.
Then I dissolve 2-3 tablets or capsules of each & every type of left-over antibiotic, anti-fungal, and anti-viral medication that I can get my hands on. (We probably all have a few prescriptions laying around, from treatments that didn't work, had to be stopped due to side-effects, or were never completed.)
Then I look for the fuzz and fibers around my home that make me feel awful. I use long dish-washing gloves, and a long metal tweezer to pick them up and pop them into the Killing Jar. It is less effective, when you touch the parasitic fibers directly, because they will form a bond with the organisms in your body, and that sustanance FROM YOU, helps them resist the toxicity of the Killing Jar. Avoid using all random fuzz & fiber from your home--some of these buggers around that you have already "made peace with" help keep MORE toxic colonies out of your life. Look for fibers that "make you feel bad" just to look at them!
After a few days of collecting the worst offenders, you have now created an elixer of neutralized parasites. A very small ammount of the liquid, poured out (decanted, as it were,) from the Killing Jar, can be added to a far less toxic spray bottle of "fabreeze," or enzyme cleaner, and it will tremendously POTENTIATE the effects of that spray in eliminating all those same colonies of parasites. You have just created a very specific, targeted, highly effective, homeopathic weapon against the actual parasitic colonies that are troubling you the most around YOUR home.

Hi guys Full strength bleach DOES NOT WORK, for me. I have had the greatest success with Pinesol full strength, large amounts. My bathtub jacuzzi whirlpool use to be my haven, and it is full of mold now, about one inch long, brown, with 100s of legs. I can't get rid of it. The city water people came over and had no idea, but said it was the jacuzzi's fault. Yeah, right. My upstairs bathroom was so comtaminated with white mold and black things that bite, I used 2 half gallons of pinesol, and now I can keep up with it with clorox wipes, or peroxide. I use to clean my nose frequently in the sink, and then sterilize it d**n near. After reading about cotton nematodes, I will never use a qtip again. I get bites on my body for no reason, and I feel better in the shower for an hour or so. I think they drown after 4 or 5 minutes. In the shower, I use selenium sulfide (selsun blue, head and shoulders, etc) to wash my hair. and I wear flip flops because the morgellons run down my body after shampooing and bite as they go. What the heck are they? ? I use alcohol based witch hazel to my skin on my face. Housekeeping: My furnace filters get black with gray buildup sooner than they are suppose to. My air purifiers get black and white on the filters, so check them often. And I use the ionizers. Here's one for the books: yes, there's definitely a charge. Deb from South Dakota PS. Know thy enemy. I am not afraid anymore, because I know there IS an enemy and we will conquer. I feel this way and it is all because of you wonderful people. I mixed up strong amonia and used a sponge mop, I sprayed the floor in a small area as well as the sponge, pull the mop towards me lifting maybe twice then rince. Making sure that any fibers went down the drain or trash then tied up and put outside. It took a couple of days of doing this and everytime I walked in a hotspot I would do that area. My floors seem better. In doing this I noticed a web close to the floor and there was a small fiber moving. I videoed it it was just a swinging. Actually it is kinda funny because there was a larger one on the wall that seemed to be guarding, watching something.
