Well, we've begun our massive task of washing all our clothes in Kleen Green + Borax + liquid lemon detergent. (We will switch to ammonia + Borax + liquid lemon detergent as soon as we have moved the washer to a vented safer area.)
Prior to doing so, I bagged all the clothes - I mean ALL, and put them outside in an open trailer. Immediately after having removed them from the house, the biting really subsided.
We have introduced a bag at a time, dry them immediately with a Bounce sheet on top, then bag them in clear garbage bags until our Rubbermaid containers arrive.

That is an excellent way of getting control of these buggers. Getting them out of the house, and it can be done. Moth balls in certain locations can keep them down, and I spray with a mist of eucalytus, if you cannot the the methal crystals, and tea tree oil mixed in water. Keeps them down too.

Just wondering, I'm a little confused about the things others are saying to use. Maybe I just don't know the effect they might have that is proven on the evil little snakes, but, if these things are man made, and not a 'bug', how can things like ammonia and eucalyptus and such 'keep them down'? I understand washing with ammonia in the washer, it makes things get a lot cleaner, (might make them slip out out of the cloth easier), and using the borax, as I see that does make them listless or something, but, how do any of these other things do anything, if they can *swim in acetone? <-(*according to the Rense shows) And...how do you mix the BORAX with water to clean the rest of the house?? I mean, like how much to how much, and who says to do that in that amount, like Cliff...or Dr. Hildagard? I'm just wanting to get my place as clean as I can, at the least expense, since I'm on a limited fixed income. I've already kept my clothes in rubber maid containers for the last 3 months. I vacuum every day, unless I have a down day where I have to sleep & just can't do a lot. But most of the time, I feel pretty good. So, what else can I do to get rid of these trespassers? What is good to wash my mattress covers with every day before I make the bed to get into? (I don't make it till then. EVER) Huh huh huh??? ;D N E Buddy got more proven methods, & maybe know why they work? Celia ....in Tacoma Washington
