We're all familiar with the gum and tooth problems associated with this affliction. Been wondering about it a lot, actually.
First, I fully intend to try Ali's oil pressing routine. Sounds pretty valid.
Second, I'm being much more cognizant of when my mouth is open. LOL
Seriously. Think about how much we breathe in through our mouths, including when asleep (remember sleep?). Then there's sneezing, coughing, talking, eating.
And when we brush our teeth, maybe we are embedding fibers into our gums and between our teeth that have entered via air intake.
I'm going to start thoroughly rinsing my mouth before brushing so anything loose in there has a chance to come out before I start scrubbing.
Maybe everyone else has already adopted this method. Sometimes I'm slow. LOL

Sounds like a good plan thinker, perhaps rinseing with Hydrogen peroxide will help.

Actually I had thought about it. My holistic vet put it on gauze and used on my dogs' teeth. Plaque came right off.
I know some people use it as a rinse and I did try it. But a friend told me her dentist said it was really bad to do. So I stopped until I got more info.
Maybe Aussie could school us on how safe and useful hydrogen peroxide might be?

I have been suffering recently from extremely eroding gums that are extremely sensitive and inflammed. Though my dentist is baffled with what is going on (I was the first to introduce Morgellons to him and his office and we're trying to figure out what to do together). One thing that has helped IMMENSELY is switching toothpastes to sensodine and NOT USING MOUTHWASH. Most toothpastes and mouthwashes contain flouride which further irritates the inflammed area. Just thought I might share because before I saw my dentist i had been brushing my teeth and rinsing with mouthwash like 50 times a day to try because it never felt clean enough...as i'm sure many of you have done the same....just be mindful of whether or not what you're using has flouride in it.

Hi kizzle730,
Thanks for the tip! Gosh it is wonderful your dentist is working with you! That's a first. The first time I hadn't brushed my teeth in a very long time; yesterday I was flossing and I pulled out a big fat morgie. You cant let up for a minute, or they take over. When my mouth was inhabited and morgies were coming out of teeth and tongue, it was indeed frightening. I noticed that any kind of decay vanished while they were active in my mouth. They feed on bacteria's and that is cool. Shrinking gums, is much the same as fingernails, that refuse to be pull back on the nail bed, also toe nails. I am fighiting skin, it is trying to change the normal course of evolution for this humans. I hate phoney skin, and the slimey bio films that have become the defence program for these critters. Yellow clear slime is disgusting, it hardens into it own personal defence system. I have a feeling it is very toxic. I am very careful after soaking, not to put into the septic system. I am glad for you!

the stuff that comes out of my gums looks like the stuff that comes out of my fingers and toes. And I often get hair looking stuff in my spit when i brush my teeth. I used to have great teeth and I am sure the morg is the reason for their decay. However as I was drug addict for years I know the assumption is understandably that it is down to that...It's so annoying that I am able to be open and unashamed re my past issues with substance abuse but I cannot do the same re Morgellons. I just had a a tooth rebuilt, and I am sure the morg is like rejecting it, which was why it took me so long to get my teeth fixed in the first place. Now what? Do I risk being able to articulate the morgellons issue? I wish I had been at the dentist still when the white worm like thing came out, and later when I was able to remove it it unfolded into a flat and familiar morgy shape...so frustrating.

Few weeks back was having severe tooth pain so visited Torrance dentist who is our family dentist. He was really very helpful and advised to take some precautions. His fee is also affordable so I always recommend him to everyone.
