Hi, Folks.
For those of us who cannot afford an expensive microsope, I wanted to tell you about the Eye Clops. It is actually a toy that works very well for seeing these things really close up.
I purchased one for about 39.00 at Drugstore.com. It is amazing how well and clear it shows the object being viewed. It is simple, you cannot take a photo with it, you plug it into your tv set to see the specimen. It is 200X magnification. It is a little clumbsy at first, but you quickly get the hang of it. It was the number one selling Christmas gift being sold at Drugstore. com. That is how it caugfht my eye.
Please let me know if any of you have one, or if anyone wants more info.

Sounds interesting. I'm holding out for the digital one. Twice the price, but you can film with it and play it on your comp & load onto UTube. I'm tired of looking at this stuff, but have a Brother & a Son I'd like to freak out after how they have left me to face this alone (no more phone calls) and didn't beleive me! ;D

Hi, praying4usall, I am so sorry your son and brother failed to hold you up at a traumatic time like this. You seem like such a sweet lady, they just do not undestand, I think, and only will if they went through it. People don't believe me either. My husband thinks I am under stress from work and all. I fear he will walk away if he can't take it anymore. He told me not to talk to him about it anymore.
About the Eye Clops, I like it because if you get a itch, you can put it on the itchy site and see waht is there. It does have its disadvantages though. Cheers, shubot

Hi, Dawn,
I hope you are doing better by now. I was glad to know you were able to obtain some products to help you with this horrible problem. I want to warn you to be careful with the teatree oil. You can over do it, I have heard if you obsorb too much into your skin, it may become toxic to your central nervous system.
I'm sorry your boyfriend doesn't understand. I know how you feel about that. Be grateful he is sticking with you, though. From what I have heard from others, some partners cannot take it and split out of the relationship. I hope that does not happen to either of us, or anyone else. It is bad enough going through this, but to have this disease and loose your support system must be devastating.
I truely hope your daughter and your boyfriend do not have this. If he does have the symptoms, he may have it. However, Everyone does not get sores or see fibers coming out of their skin.
There is one more thing I wanted to warn you about. We really do not know who all reads these posts. I think it would be more safe for you to not post your phone number for all to see on the general boards like this. You could do a personal message that only I would see, or whoever you are sending the PM to.
Cheers, Shubot

Dawn? I will call you! I only just tried the mayo like that person said. It did make things come to the surface, but it also made my skin burn later. Not anything I'd count on!
Tea Tree oil isn't meant to be used full strength directly on the skin. I know it might say that you can, but it IS strong! I mix it with a creme from Trader Joe's that is safe and gentle.
Do you still have my email address and phone number Dawn?? I got your phone number. Am trying to get it safely removed from the public right now though!
Oddly enough, I've found that a certain type of anti yeast female gel cleared up a sore on my face that just would not go away & stay away using an antibacterial creme before that!
We can always PM each other for giving our numbers, or in emails. Much safer!
Love ya, Celia
